With the 5:30 class ending, the 6:30 class usually ends up running as a part of the warm up in order to clear the box of all equipment. Tuesday night included a 800m run was a part of the warm up and I can't focus on anything other than the fact that I'm so f*ing slow.
The WOD was 3 RFT 400m run, 12 deadlifts, 21 box jumps (or in my case step ups). I got to the final round 3 BSUs in when the 18 minute time cap was called... so close!
I have never ever ever been a good, consistent runner, and have never had a running partner because of it. I'm always by myself and I hate that. Is it all mental? I don't know. My lungs give up before my body, and sometimes my body gives up at the same time as my lungs. Is it t1 diabetes related? IDK. Can I push myself further? I really really do already. How can I get better? I've always wanted to get better!
Tonight's Endurance workout? Two 800m runs, three 400m runs, and three 300m runs.... Someone please take a swing with an object to my legs and I'll be your Nancy Kerrigan with tears of JOY!!
I haven't been sleeping good lately. I think it's the heat. I get up around 3 and sit on the couch and craft with clay. The next time I look up, I have to get ready for work in less than an hour. Just not tired! Blech! I'll get through it though!
Other than that, I'm doing great and I'll be taking progress pictures soon for things that don't quite fit yet so I can eventually see the progression.
